A challenge was issued in a thread on Doomworld asking people if they could make a playable level in just 30 minutes. You would be surprised just how little time that is even with tons of experience and a good level editor!
My first attempt failed miserably, but my second attempt was much better. I drafted a plan in my head and stopped at nothing. And even then it was not possible to do it in 30 minutes. I think this level took me about 35. It’s not pretty and I’m not sure that the entertainment value is particularly high with only a few baddies and a simple path to the exit. Take it for what it is: An experiment.
