I think this is probably my earliest endavour into pseudo 3D structures. I remember being very pleased with the architecture and overall design of this level and many of the basic ideas here are still prevalent in the stuff I make today.
I don’t exactly know or remember why I chose to make it into a deathmatch level. But that’s what it is designed for. I never tested it with other players and have never received any feedback on its DM capabilities. But I have a feeling that the overall openess of the level lends itself very well to some good player vs. player fights.
